Here’s a high level view of how a light show is created and displayed using Twinkly lights. This is not the only way to make this happen, but it does show the most common path – there’s other software and hardware out there to achieve similar results, but there’s a reason the combination of xLights and FPP are so popular — they work extremely well together and there’s great community support for both if you have a question. If you can master this with Twinkly, it’s much easier to move into the realm of integrating generic WS2811 Pixels into your show, or migrating entirely to WS2811 Pixels.
